The makers of Dhoom are reportedly preparing for the next installment of the popular franchise. Dhoom was first released in 2004 with John Abraham in a leading role with Abhishek Bachan and Uday Chopra. The next two installments were headed by Hrithik Roshan and Aamir Khan. And now as the rumors suggest, the antagonist of the fourth part of the ‘Dhoom’ series could be played by talented Deepika Padukone.
According to a report by Filmfare, the makers of ‘ Dhoom 4’ have reportedly interacted with Deepika Padukone for the role of the antagonist in the movie. However, Deepika has not yet said yes to this character but it is being told that she is excited to take up this challenge.
If Deepika Padukone agrees to this role, then this will be the first time in the Dhoom series that an antagonist would be played by a woman.
Deepika currently is committed to many projects. First, Deepika would be seen with her husband Ranveer Singh in 83’. In this Kabir Khan directed film, Deepika is playing the role of Kapil Dev’s wife. On the other hand, Deepika is also shooting an untitled film of Shakun Batra these days alongside Ananya Pandey and Siddhant Chaturvedi.
Padukone would also be seen with Shah Rukh Khan in Pathan along with John Abraham. After this Deepika has committed to the film ‘Fighter’ in which she would work with Hrithik Roshan for the very first time.
