Union Minister Ramdas Athawale claimed that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s pre-2014-General-Elections’ promise of depositing 15 lakh to everyone’s bank account is getting delayed due to the Reserve Bank of India, country’s central banking institute.
While answering a question from journalists in Sangli district of Maharashtra. The Minister said that “15 lakh rupees will come slowly, not all at once. The government does not have so much money. The RBI was asked for money but they are not giving. So the amount cannot be collected.”
Athawale is currently a Member of Parliament in Rajya Sabha. He is the president of Republican Party of India (A) which is in an alliance with the NDA.
