Delhi Metro Blue Line April 19 Timings: People who want to travel on the Delhi Metro Blue Line on Sunday, April 19, should leave a little early or check their route before going out. Delhi Metro Rail Corporation, or DMRC, has said train service will be briefly changed in the early morning because of planned track work between Indraprastha and Supreme Court stations. This work will affect Line 3 and Line 4 for a short time, but only in the morning.

Delhi Metro Update: Check Revised Timings

According to the revised schedule released by the DMRC:

  • Vaishali to Dwarka Sector 21: First train will depart at 6:05 AM
  • Laxmi Nagar to Dwarka Sector 21: First train will depart at 6:21 AM
  • Yamuna Bank to Dwarka Sector 21: First train will start at 5:50 AM

DMRC has also made it clear that there is no change in the first train timings from Dwarka towards Noida Electronic City, and from Dwarka Sector 21 towards Noida Electronic City and Vaishali.

Normal Service Expected After 6:30 AM

This change is only for a short period. DMRC has said normal train service on the full Blue Line is expected to come back after 6:30 AM. So the problem is not for the whole day, but it may still trouble people who travel very early on Sunday morning. That is why passengers are being told to plan ahead and keep a little extra time in hand.

For many people, this may not be a big delay, but for someone trying to reach work, the airport, or an early appointment, even a small timing change can matter. Since the work is being done for track maintenance, the short disruption is meant to help keep metro service safe and smooth later.

Delhi’s Big New Road Plan

At the same time, Delhi is also looking at a much bigger transport project. The Delhi government has prepared a plan for a 19.2-km elevated road along the Yamuna from Wazirabad to DND.

The proposed road will be built in 3 parts. The first part will go from Surghat to ISBT Kashmere Gate. The second part will run from ISBT to Sarai Kale Khan. The third part will go from Sarai Kale Khan to DND.
