The 6.675 km long Noida Electronic City to Noida City Centre Metro corridor, which was slated to connect several locations of the UP district, with the rest of the National Capital Region (NCR) is up and ready for the operations.
The section was inaugurated by India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi on March 8, the ocassion of International Women’s Day. This extension of the presently operational Dwarka Sector 21 – NOIDA City Centre Blue Line comprises of six elevated stations.
The blue line of Delhi Metro starts at Dwarka sector 21 and now ends at Noida Electronic City. The branch of this line is at the Yamuna bank and goes towards Vaishali. Blue line earlier consist of 50 stations.
The Blue Line Metro Extension from NOIDA City Centre to NOIDA Electronic City was formally inaugurated by the Hon’ble Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi via remote today. Passenger services on this section will begin today at 4 PM.

This section is completely elevated and will be on Broad Gauge.
The stations’ alignment runs close to NH–24.
