On Tuesday afternoon, a miscreant hurled chilli powder on Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal at Delhi Secretariat. As per reports, Kejriwal’s spectacles also broke in the scuffle. During the whole scuffle, miscreant shouted “Mai deshbhakt hu”. After the incident, a situation of embarrassment created among police officials. Further, Police took miscreant into the custody.
The suspect, identified as Anil Kumar Hindustani, has been taken to IP estate police station.
It is not the first time when Arvind Kejriwal was targetted despite having heavy security. In January 2016, an AAP rebel leader had hurled ink on Kejriwal at a Delhi stadium.
