Heavy rain and hailstorms lashed parts of Delhi and the adjoining areas of Noida, Ghaziabad on Thursday afternoon.
This came after Delhi recorded a significantly warm day on Wednesday with the maximum temperature recording 25.1 degrees Celsius – two notches above normal for this time of the season, while the minimum was 12 — three notches above normal.
In the past 24 hours, the city witnessed about 1 mm of rain.
