Delhi Nursery Admission 2021: The admission process for nursery classes have started in Delhi on February 18th. Now the Delhi Government has relaxed the age limit by changing the admission rules in the nursery. According to the new rule, the child’s age will now be relaxed by 30 days for admission to nursery, kg, and class 1. In simpler terms, child age will be counted from March 31st.
Delhi Nursery Admission 2021: 30 days exemption
On the basis of age, children in Delhi are given admission in KG or Class I. According to the Directorate of Education rules, children from 3 to 4 years will be in the nursery, children from 4 to 5 years in KG, and 5 to 6 years in class 1. In these rules, now the Delhi government has given exemption. That is, if your child has completed 4 years (not more than 4 years 1 month) by March 31, 2021, he/she/they will now be able to get admission in the nursery instead of KG.

February 18 – Commencement of admissions, availability of forms
March 4- Last date for submission of applications
March 15- Uploading details of children who applied for admission under open seats
March 20- Display of the first list
March 22-23 Resolution of queries of parents
March 25- Display of the second list (if any)
March 26- Resolution of queries of parents for the second list
March 27- Subsequent list of admission, if any
March 31- Closure of the admission process
