The nursery admission process in Delhi for session 2019-20 is likely to begin from December.
Parents should note that the child has to be less than 4 years for admission to nursery. The student should be 5 for kindergarten and less than 6 for Class I.
While the Delhi government had come up with the upper-age limit criterion for admissions to private schools three year ago, the order was challenged in the Delhi high court. Last year, the HC upheld the government circular.
“As there was no stay this year, the upper-age limit at entr entry-level classes will come into force,” director of Directorate of Education (DoE), Sanjay Goel, told The Times Of India.
