A shocking incident has surfaced in which the Delhi Women Commission has claimed that they have busted a sex racket operating from a spa in a mall in Rohini.
The chief of DCW Swati Maliwal said that they have issued a notice to the police for not making any arrests in the case and also notice was issued to MCD to find that whether they had received any complaints about the spa earlier.
The woman panel said that their helpline, 181 received a call on May 18 about a sex racket being run at a spa in city center mall in Rohini.
As per the reports, the call was made by a journalist who had done a sting operation and had gone to the spa pretending to be a customer. The journalist was offered girls at different rates. The complainant had made proper recordings of the conversation with the girls and also with the management of the spa.
Post receiving the call, a team of DCW reached the spa and called the police. They along with the police found 11 girls in the spa with some objectionable things.
After which the girls were taken to Prashant Vihar police station where the police took their statement and an FIR was registered said the women panel and they added that there was no arrest made by the police.
A senior police official said that they are investigating the case and the women panel said that they would submit a certain transcript of the conversation as evidence but nothing has been submitted yet.
