A biker was killed in the morning-time today on Signature Bridge after it was inaugurated just weeks ago on November 4. The rider, along with his cousin crashed into the divider. This happened while they were going from Delhi’s Nangloi in the direction of North-East Delhi. According to the police, the accident took place at 8:20 am when the vehicle skidded.
Shankar, aged 24, a salesman, lost his life on the way to the hospital. His cousin Deepak, aged 17, sustained knee injuries. Apparently, both of them were wearing helmets but unfortunately, Shankar’s helmet flew before he received the hit.
Two days back, two medical students lost their lives in a similar accident after their vehicle got rammed into a divider. Reportedly, the students were trying to take a selfie after which the bike got caught into a stray wire resulting in their deaths.
Earlier a video of transgenders stripping on the Signature Bridge had gone viral on the internet.
