Ahmedabad: Fourteen-year-old Devvrat Singh Rajawat, a rising golf prodigy, has been selected to represent India at the Asian Junior Masters Golf Championship 2026, scheduled to be held from February 2 to 5 in Hua Hin, Thailand. Devvrat will compete in the Junior Under-18 category, marking another major milestone in an already remarkable sporting journey.
Devvrat’s selection comes on the back of a standout performance at the Greens to Glory Elite Junior Golf Championship Qualifiers, which he won at the ITC Classic Golf Resort between October 28 and 30 last year. His victory there earned him a spot at one of Asia’s most prestigious junior golf events, where young talent from across the continent will compete.
The championship will be played at the Black Mountain Championship Golf Course in Hua Hin, widely regarded as one of the finest courses in the world.
Devvrat started learning golf at just three years of age and began competing when he was four. By the age of seven, he had already etched his name in Indian golf history by becoming the youngest Indian golfer to represent the country at the US World Golf Championship in Pinehurst, North Carolina.

Over the years, Devvrat has steadily built a reputation for discipline, composure, and technical skill well beyond his age.
Devvrat’s selection is more than a sporting achievement. It reflects the growing depth of junior golf talent in the country and the emergence of athletes who can compete confidently on global stages.
