Ardent viewers of Taarak Mehta Ka ooltah Chashma might get shocked as the popular character of Daya ben essayed by actress Disha Vakani might not return to the popular show.
Disha has been missing from the show for a long time now as the actress was on maternity leave last year. According to the speculations surrounding from past 2 months, the actress may not re-enter the show and call it quits.
A report by an entertainment portal suggests that the leading lady may not enter the show and the producer of the show, Asit Modi’s statement to a portal has also spilt some beans on the topic. He said “Can’t say about the authenticity of that news. I don’t know,” further adding, “Maybe true. I don’t know about the final decision. My team is talking with her.”
The popular show Taarak Mehta Ka ooltah Chashma has always made its place on the BARC TRP charts but ever since Disha has exit from the show their ratings have been deteriorated.
There are reports which suggest that the actress had demanded her fee hike post her comeback to the show with a condition to work for 15 days and recently, there were reports that the actress husband is not happy about her comeback to the show as her baby is too young.
The actress, who got married to Mayur Pandya (a chartered accountant) on November 24, 2015, was blessed with a baby girl in November 2017.
