DU UG Admissions Round 3 2025: Delhi University has started the third round of seat allotment for undergraduate admissions under its Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) for the 2025-26 academic year. Students who already got seats in the first or second round can now try for a better option.
Preference Change
The university has opened the option for those students to reorder their preferences and ask for a seat upgrade.
- If a student wants to move to a college or course that they had ranked higher earlier, and if there is a seat available, they might get that better choice now.
- If a student gets an upgrade, the new college will automatically confirm the admission, but the student must pay any extra fees if needed to keep the seat.

Special Mid-Entry
Delhi University is also giving a chance to new students who missed applying earlier. The special mid-entry window is now open from 5 pm on August 8 and will close at 4:59 pm on August 10. These new applicants have to pay Rs 1,000 as a one-time non-refundable fee.
- This option is for students who didn’t register in CSAS Phase 1 or could not complete Phase 2.
- It also helps students who got rejected before due to problems like wrong subject choices, wrong documents, or not meeting the course rules.
- These students can now fix their subject lists and send new choices.
But they must finish everything before 5 pm on August 10 because the university will only consider the data that is saved by that time.

The cutoff marks and rank needed to get a seat in this round might be different from what students saw in the first and second rounds. Delhi University has already said that it won’t accept any complaints if someone feels that the marks or rank cutoff has changed too much.
