Tremors were felt in New Delhi and parts of National Capital Region (NCR) after a 4.2 magnitude earthquake struck in the Delhi- Haryana border at around 4 30 am on Thursday.
According to US Geological Survey, the earthquake was at a depth of 10 kilometres.
The tremors, which lasted for a minute, shook Delhi, Gurgaon and Ghaziabad. Many people reported the jolt was strong enough to wake them up, The Indian Express reported.
A lot of people took to Twitter sudden after the tremors.
There was no immediate loss of property and life reported.
