Ekma Assembly Constituency 2025:Ekma Assembly Constituency, designated as No. 113, is situated in the Saran district of Bihar. It encompasses the Ekma and Lahladpur community development blocks, along with several gram panchayats from the Manjhi CD Block, including Mohammadpur, Bhajouna Nachap, Atarsan Ashahni, Nawada, Bhalua Bujurg, Mobarakpur, Matiyar, Chephul, and Gobrahi. Ekma is a part of the Maharajganj Lok Sabha seat. The voters are a mix of ethnic groups, such as Yadavs, Muslims, and Other Backward Classes (OBCs) that have a significant impact on the political atmosphere of the area.

Ekma has witnessed a changing political landscape over the last few years. Manoranjan Singh of the Janata Dal (United) (JD(U)) was elected in the 2015 Bihar Assembly elections. However, in the 2020 elections, Srikant Yadav of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) won against Sita Devi of JD(U) with a margin of 13,927 votes. It was a swing that showed the alteration of the region’s voter preferences and party influence.
