State Wise Seat Predictions

Tamil Nadu

Tamil Nadu has 234 seats in its Assembly. To form the government, any party or group must win at least 117 seats. In the last election in 2021, the DMK alliance came to power and ended ten years of rule by AIADMK.

Most exit polls are saying that the DMK alliance may come back to power again. At the same time, one survey by Axis My India has given a very different picture. It says actor Vijay’s party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam, could become the biggest party in the state.

Kerala

Kerala has 140 seats in total. A party or alliance needs 71 seats to win. In 2021, the Left Democratic Front made history by winning again with 99 seats.

Many surveys say the Congress-led United Democratic Front may move ahead of the ruling Left Front.

Matrize says UDF may win 70 to 75 seats and LDF may get 60 to 65. Chanakya Strategies gives UDF 72 to 80 seats and LDF 58 to 64. Axis My India shows an even bigger lead for UDF with 78 to 90 seats, while LDF may get 49 to 62 seats.

Assam

Assam has 126 Assembly seats. To form a government, at least 64 seats are needed. In 2021, the BJP-led alliance won 75 seats and stayed in power.

Almost all exit polls agree on one thing. They say BJP and its allies may win again and form the government for a third time.

West Bengal

The election surveys are giving different ideas about what may happen in West Bengal. The state has 294 seats in total, and any party needs at least 148 seats to form the government. In the last election held in 2021, the Trinamool Congress won big with 215 seats.

Now the new exit polls are showing a tight fight. Many surveys are saying that the Bharatiya Janata Party may do very well this time and could even try to remove Mamata Banerjee’s government after many years.

Some poll groups have shared their numbers. Chanakya Strategies says BJP could win around 150 to 160 seats, while TMC may get about 130 to 140 seats. Another survey by Matrize gives BJP between 146 and 161 seats, and TMC between 125 and 140 seats.

Praja Poll has given even bigger numbers for BJP. It says BJP might win between 178 and 208 seats, and TMC could drop to around 85 to 110 seats. On the other hand, not all surveys agree with this. Peoples Pulse has a different view. It says TMC may still stay in power and win around 177 to 187 seats, while BJP may get between 95 and 110 seats.

Puducherry

Puducherry has 33 total seats, but only 30 are elected. A party or alliance needs 16 seats to form the government. In 2021, the NDA formed the government by winning 16 seats.

Exit polls this time also show that the NDA may continue in power. Axis My India predicts the ruling alliance may win between 16 and 20 seats. The Congress-led side may get only 6 to 8 seats.

Another survey by JVC gives NDA around 15 to 17 seats and Congress alliance 11 to 13 seats. Some predictions also say Vijay’s TVK may win a small number of seats here.
