Following the dastardly and cowardly terror attack that took place in Pulwama, various netizens have poured in demands to cut ties with Pakistan at all levels, including the field of cricket. Top leaders of the world condemned the terror attack that shook India on February 14.

Various fake messages and videos have unfortunately gone viral of the Pulwama terror attack. One such video has wrongly being claimed to be of terrorists involved in the Pulwama attack, “Group of Terrorists Killed by bomb blast while taking selfie; Video Viral . The video is circulating on social media after the Pulwama attack in which it appears that while taking selfies, the entire team of terrorists flew into a bomb blast. Watch Video,” the caption of the video read, that was been put on video sharing websites, according to a Latestly report.

The video is instead a 3-year old and is actually of Syrian rebels taking selfie. As one of the persons in the gathering tried to take a selfie, the phone exploded.

3 days after the tragic attack, the CRPF had issued an advisory in which it said, “It has been noticed that on social media some miscreants are trying to circulate fake pictures of body parts of our Martyrs to invoke hatred while we stand united. Please DO NOT circulate/share/like such photographs or posts. Report such content at [email protected]”.

At least 40 CRPF troopers were killed and some 20 others injured on Thursday when a van packed with explosives reportedly rammed into a CRPF bus on the Srinagar-Jammu highway in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district. In the deadliest attack ever on security forces in Jammu and Kashmir, a Jaish suicide bomber rammed a vehicle carrying over 100 kg of explosives into a CRPF convoy of 70 vehicles in Pulwama district.

The attack took place when the CRPF was moving 2,547 CRPF jawans/officers in two convoys moving close to each other from Jammu to South Kashmir in 78 vehicles including, buses, armoured vehicles and jeeps.
