In a not so favouring event for Lok Janshakti Party chief Ram Vilas Paswan, his own family members have announced to stand against Paswan in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Paswan’s son-in-law Anil Sadhu had joined Lalu Prasad Yadav’s Rashtriya Janata Dal during the last elections in Bihar. Now he is all set to fight against his father-in-law Ram Vilas Paswan.
“If RJD gives tickets to me or my wife, we will definitely fight against former Union Minister and LJP Chief Ram Vilas Paswan. They have not only insulted me, they have even insulted the STs/SCs. Dalits are not their bonded labourers,” said Anil Sadhu, son-in-law of LJP leader Ram Vilas Paswan.

The political battle within Paswan’s house may turn unfortunate for the eight-time Lok Sabha member Ram Vilas Paswan. Not just Anil Sadhu, his wife and Paswan’s daughter Reena Paswan has also joined her husband to give a faceoff to her father and LJP supremo Paswan. They have planned to challenge Paswan from his own constituency ‘Hajipur’.
“Violence against Dalits in Bihar and across the country have increased in the last few months but Paswan and his son Chirag Paswan, who is Working President of LIP, are silent over the issue. Why both have not spoken so far if they are Dalit leaders?” said Sadhu.
Sadhu has alleged Paswan of humiliation and insult of SC/ST. He also said that his wife is displeased with her father and has joined him in the battle.
