‘Mere ache din kab aayenge’, a song from the upcoming movie Fanney Khan has been trolled by the social media, taking a dig at Bharatiya Janata Party over their political slogan ‘Ache Din’, that Narendra Modi used during the general elections of 2014.

Movie Fanney Khan, starring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao in important roles have released two versions of a song in their film. The first version of the song was titled ‘Mere Acche Din Kab Aayenge’ and it was released a week ago.

After the song being politicised by many over the social media the producers were under fire, and got calls from high places, following which the producers are likely to pull down the track. The new version of the song has been released with the title ‘Mere Achche Din Ab Aaye Re’.

Atul Manjrekar, the director of Fanney Khan, says that he ‘cut a new video’ because the song was taking unnecessary ‘political colour.’

“We cut a new video and released it now because our song was unnecessarily taking a political colour. It didn’t strike us that this is also the slogan of the government. We didn’t expect such a reaction. Fanney Khan is a simple film about a cab driver and his dreams. I hope people see the song in the right context and not misconstrue it,” he told a tabloid.

Fanney Khan is expected to get released on August 3, 2018.
