Nikunja Kumar Dhal, the Chief Electoral Officer of Odisha, disclosed this information on Wednesday in Bhubaneswar, subsequent to a meeting with representatives of every registered political party. Dhal emphasized that the production of an error-free voter list must be expedited.
In a press release, he said, “The draft voter list will be published on October 27, while the final voters’ list will be out on January 5, 2024”
Additionally, he declared that the preliminary voter list would be disseminated to the sub-collectors’ offices concurrently with the establishment of a date for the correction of any inaccuracies. Public complaints concerning anomalies and errors are expected to be received from December 27th to December 9th. Complaints will subsequently be heard on December 26th.

Voter registration campaigns for individuals between the ages of 18 and 19 will be conducted on four separate occasions over the course of four days: November 5, 11, 19, and 25.
