Director Gary Ross’s female-filled movie ‘Ocean’s 8’ features a star cast to die for.
The image of eight seasoned female actors inside a subway train could make it difficult for cinephiles to wait for another 17 months.
Warner Bros. and Village Roadshow on Monday morning released the first official image from the American comedy heist film, featuring all eight leading ladies: Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Sarah Paulson, Rihanna, Anne Hathaway, Helena Bonham Carter, Mindy Kaling and Awkwafina.

“The tide will turn as Debbie Ocean (Sandra Bullock) attempts to pull off the heist of the century at New York City’s star-studded annual Met Gala. Her first stop is to assemble the perfect crew: Lou (Cate Blanchett); Nine Ball (Rihanna); Amita (Mindy Kaling); Constance (Awkwafina); Rose (Helena Bonham Carter); Daphne Kluger (Anne Hathaway); and Tammy (Sarah Paulson),” the film’s first logline revealed.
The movie, part of the Ocean’s franchise, is expected to hit theaters on June 8, 2018.
