Similar to its previous Plus programme, eligibility for the new Plus Premium Membership is determined by the user’s order history. Flipkart Plus Premium provides 4% SuperCoins on orders up to $300. The reward rate has multiplied compared to the standard Flipkart Plus programme. Additionally, the new membership provides consumers with daily and hourly deals that are unavailable to regular Plus users.
The Plus Premium Membership retains access to Plus-tier sales in advance. Users with either membership type can access any Flipkart sale at least 12 hours in advance of the sale’s start time.
Flipkart also offers 300 SuperCoins to first-time consumers of Flipkart Plus Premium as a welcome bonus. These SuperCoins can be redeemed for gift vouchers or discounts on other Flipkart purchases. For a limited time, Flipkart is offering first-time Flipkart Plus consumers 300 SuperCoins as a welcome bonus. This is the same welcome incentive as Flipkart Plus Premium, and Flipart may modify this perk to differentiate it from the higher-tier membership.
On all orders placed on Flipkart, Myntra, and Flipkart HealthPlus, users can earn SuperCoins. Additionally, you can earn SuperCoins by reserving flights and hotels on the Flipkart website. Since Walmart’s 2018 acquisition of Flipkart, the e-commerce titan has focussed on enhancing its customer loyalty programme to retain customers.
The Flipkart Plus and Plus Premium Memberships compete directly with Amazon Prime. However, Amazon Prime offers benefits such as free shipping in exchange for a membership fee, whereas Flipkart offers SuperCoins as a retention reward and offers the membership for free.
