FPL 2023-24 A Beginners Guide to Mastering Fantasy Premier League

FPL 2023-24: The Fantasy Premier League (FPL) is now available to fans in preparation for the 2023–24 season of the EFL’s premier division.

Harry Kane will cost you £12.5 million in your 2023–24 fantasy division, while Erling Haaland will cost you £14 million.

The Norwegian is currently the most expensive player, with compatriot Kevin de Bruyne in close second at £10.5 million and Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah matching Harry Kane’s £12.5 million price tag.

Similar leagues have recently appeared in sports such as Formula 1, demonstrating the increasing popularity of fantasy leagues. However, for those who have fallen behind, here is everything you need to know in order to partake in FPL action before the 2023–24 Premier League season resumes.

How to Participate in Fantasy Premier League 2023-2004

FPL players are required to establish an account on the FPL website, register, and choose a team identity prior to playing. As the head coach of Premier League players, you are tasked with selecting a roster of 15 players who will gain points for your team based on their performances in Premier League games.

How are points awarded?

Players receive points according to goals, assists, saves, and clean sheets. In Fantasy, players who perform well in a game can receive additional incentive points.

The starting XI earns all of your team’s points for the “game week,” but the first player on your substitute earns points if one of your starters does not play for his club during that round of matches. If only two or three players turn up, the outcome is identical.

In addition, the points earned by selecting a commander from the starting lineup are doubled for the game week in question.

How to select an FPL squad

A team should consist of two goalkeepers, five defenders, five midfielders, and three forwards. You may select no more than three players from each Premier League team, and you have 90 minutes before the first game of the game week begins to determine your starting lineup. In addition, administrators can only join a single team.

On the transfer market, footballers can also be bought and sold, and up until the first deadline, there are no transfer fees for any number of transactions.

After the season’s initial restriction has expired, coaches are restricted to one free transfer per Gameweek. This permits them to obtain a player to trade for a member of their 15-man roster, provided the transfer is within their budget.

Additional transfers are permitted, but will incur a total of four points. If the coach does not use the free transfer, it can be continued over to the following week, and you are then eligible for two more free signings.
