The FTII JET 2024 was reportedly scheduled to be released during the initial week of November 2023 and is now imminent, according to media reports. Registration for the 2021–22 academic year commenced on November 3, whereas registration for the 2022–23 academic year commenced on February 3.

Define the FTII JET examination.
At the national level, the FTII JET is administered as an entrance exam for postgraduate and postgraduate diploma programs. The Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune, and the Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute (SRFTI), Kolkata, administer the FTII JET examination.
These two renowned institutions subsequently admit the shortlisted candidates into courses covering a wide range of disciplines, including screenwriting and video editing, direction and screenplay, acting, cinematography, sound engineering, recording, art direction and production design, and video editing, among others.
The FTII JET is administered annually. The examination is administered offline and is written in English. The examination consists of two sections and has a duration of three hours. The official exam format for the FTII JET consists of one hundred objective-type questions, for which one point is awarded for each accurate response. The inquiries consist of both multiple-choice and descriptive answer formats. The examination inquiries will encompass a wide range of subjects, including but not limited to Allied Arts, Literature, Art and Craft, Film & TV, Environmental Awareness, General Knowledge, and Art & Culture and Media-Related General Knowledge.
