Why the Prices kept Changing?

Analysts said the back-and-forth came from global market signals and changing demand for gold and silver. The world market kept sending mixed signals, and that made the prices jump around. Reuters also reported that precious metals have been reacting strongly to global pressure and investor moves in 2026.

Where the Prices stand now?

Fresh market updates on May 2 show gold still hovering around the ₹1.51 lakh mark per 10 grams and silver staying near the ₹2.51 lakh per kg level in India. Different sites show small city-to-city changes, but the broad trend is the same. Gold is softer for the week, while silver has clearly moved up.
