According to commodity market data, MCX Gold June futures were trading around ₹1,58,588 per 10 grams, showing mild weakness in early trade. MCX Silver July futures were near ₹2,71,600 per kilogram amid cautious global sentiment. Analysts say the recent dip in bullion prices is kinda tied to a firmer US dollar, and also some lingering worries about what the US Federal Reserve might do next with its policy decisions.
Meanwhile, global COMEX gold prices were still under pressure too, after investors did some quick profit-booking. And silver prices, they kept swinging around a lot, mainly because industrial demand feels a bit uncertain, and inflation worries are still in the mix.

In India, retail gold rates seemed broadly steady across most major cities today. The average price for 24-carat gold was roughly ₹15,934 per gram, while 22-carat gold moved around ₹14,606 per gram.
