Indian Test Vice-Captain Ajinkya Rahane has all the right reasons to be on cloud seven as his wife Radhika Dhopavkar has given birth to the couple’s first daughter. Rahane woke up to the heartwarming news in Visakhapatnam wherein he is playing the first Test against South Africa.
Ajinkya Rahane married his childhood friend Radhika in 2014. The two had met first in school and remained friends for quite some time before their parents met and arranged their marriage.
It was in July earlier this year when Rahane and his wife had revealed the news of pregnancy as the two shared a few pictures on Instagram. Both were dressed in traditional attires as Radhika flaunted her baby bump.
Although neither of the two has revealed the news of their daughter’s birth on social media, Harbhajan confirmed it on Twitter while the same was also mentioned during the first session’s play on Day 4 of the first Test between India and South Africa on Saturday by the commentators.
