Artist Parth Kothekar skillfully crafted a hand-cut paper artwork to represent the Republic Day 2023 Google Doodle, which reflects the fascination of every Indian with the grand Republic Day Parade.

In addition to the President’s House being a prominent feature of his Google Doodle, it also depicts spectacular bike pyramids formed by military personnel during the parade. Some horsemen in the illustration remind us of the 61 Cavalry regiment, which is currently the only active horse cavalry unit in the world.

The doodle also features the CRPF marching contingent, India Gate, and India’s national bird, the peacock, among other elements.

Google Doodle celebrated India’s Republic Day with an illustration depicting India’s culture and tradition, as it does every year. Concurrently, this illustration reminds the world of India’s struggle to gain independence from the British and form its constitution.

India’s constituent assembly was able to form the Indian Constitution on November 26, 1949, following arduous deliberations and three rounds of readings. It went into effect on January 26, 1950.
