In a chilling incident, a retired Police Inspector was killed in broad daylight in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. The incident was recorded in a CCTV camera. In a 45 sec video, it is clearly seen that the elderly man riding on a bicycle is paddling on a road when a man reaches him and starts charging him with a long heavy wooden stick.
It seems that the man in a pink shirt was waiting for him at the spot and as soon as he saw him, he started hitting him hard until the elderly man fell down from his bicycle. However, the man continued to hit him hard with the stick.
The irony is no one from among the people passing on the road came for his rescue. Few of them passed across few took a u-turn whereas, few remained there as a mute spectator watching the old age retired police inspector die.
