GSEB HSC Arts, Commerce Results 2020 declared; 76.29% pass class 12th Gujarat board exam

The results are available on the official website of GSEB. A total of 76.29% students have passed Class 12th or higher secondary certificate (HSC) exam in Gujarat this year.

GSEB HSC Arts, Commerce Results 2020: The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board declared the result of Arts, Commerce Class 12th on Monday, June 15, 2020. The results are available on the official website of GSEB. A total of 76.29% students have passed Class 12th or higher secondary certificate (HSC) exam in Gujarat this year.

Students who appeared for the examination for arts or commerce streams will be able to check their results today at gseb.org.

In 2020, a total of 3.71 lakh students appeared in the GSEB HSC arts and commerce exam, out of which 1.95 lakh were girls and 1.76 lakh were boys. About 1.38 lakh girls and 1.44 boys have cleared the general stream examination.

The overall performance of Class 12 students this year has increased. Last year 73.27% students from the state board had cleared the exam.

70.97% of male students have cleared the Class 12th exam. The pass percentage among female students is 82.20%. 269 schools across the all over state has recorded 100% pass.

Students have the highest pass percentage is in English subject (81.72%) followed by Sindhi subject (76.67%) and Urdu (76.12%%). While Gujarati subject is at 4th place with 76.11%. The lowest pass percentage has been recorded in Hindi subject (66.71). The pass percentage for Marathi subject is slightly better than Hindi at 68.14%.

Highest pass percentage for the exams has been recorded in Patan district. 86.67% students have qualified the Class 12th exam under GSEB board in this district.

On the othere hand, among other districts where students have performed well are Botad, Aravalli, Surendranagar, Surat, Sabarkantha, Banaskantha and Kutchh. In all of these districts, the overall pass percentage is above 80% except Junagadh district where only 58.26% students have passed and this is the lowest pass percentage recorded in a district in Gujarat.
