Bharatiya Janata Party’s national president, Amit Shah said it was only after BJP came to power in Gujarat that development happened. Shah addressed Gujarat’s youth in Ahmedabad’s Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium on Sunday. This address was ahead of the assembly polls in the state and is part of the day long plan. Shah will now meet state BJP members and the State BJP central team.
While talking about BJP’s rule in Gujarat, he said Congress has always questioned what development happened in the state under BJP. He noted that before BJP came to power, lack of electricity was a key issue. But, once BJP formed the government under Modi, it boosted power generation capacity in the state.
The BJP president addressed the youth saying how BJP developed infrastructure, agricultural production and how in the governance of Congress, corruption triumphed everywhere. He also cited various cases of corruption that prevailed during the Congress with the 2G scam, Air India, and Coal scam. “And then Rahul Gandhi comes to Gujarat and questions what development?” he said.
Shah said, under the rule of Modi-led government, there was no corruption and agriculture had flourished. He also mentioned about StartUp India, Digital India and various initiatives started by the BJP.
