Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is on a two-day visit to his native state Gujarat, took a helicopter ride to the famous Somnath Temple to offer prayer on Wednesday. Further, the Prime Minister will address a public meeting near Triveni Sangam.

On Tuesday, PM Modi laid the foundation stone of Bharuch bus port in Gujarat and said that only the people of the city who suffered a lot of trouble would understand the significance of the bridge.

“The world will not understand what it means to build a bridge here. The people of Bharuch, who have undergone so much pain, only they will understand its importance,” he said.

The PM also emphasized that India’s economy is getting new power on the soil of Bharuch. “If the vision is clear, intentions right and ideas perfect, then nothing can hinder success,” said the PM.

Considering the assembly polls to be held later this year, PM Modi and his government at the Centre is trying their best to help the state in enhancing its infrastructure and had passed new projects to develop Gujarat even further.
