Gippy Grewal is the name that is very familiar with every Punjabi and well known for his singing career in Punjabi music industry. Although the singer has came up as an actor later in the industry which was just an experiment which took his career to boost as an actor as well.

People started loving Gippy Grewal Movies just like Gippy Grewal songs. He became very famous all around the globe through his acting skills as well. Experience gained through acting took him to further more new things, like in year 2016 he directed a film which was the story written by him named as “Ardaas”. Which was very much close to every punjabi’s heart.

  1. Carry on Jatta (2012)

There is not a single person who has not laughed throughout the movie was going on. The first ever much successful comedy drama film in the history of Punjabi film industry, starring Gippy Grewal, Jaswinder Bhalla, Mahi Gill, Gurpreet Ghughi, Karamjit Anmol, Binnu Dhillon and many others. The film was directed by Smeep Kang, who is busy these days in the making of second part of this film. Carry on Jatta 2 release date is announced, the film will be on the screens 25th of March 2018. All the cast of the upcoming movie is same just the heroine Mahi Gill is replaced with Sonam Bajwa.

Plot: Jass (Gippy Grewal) finds Mahie (Mahi Gill) at a marriage and falls in love with her at first site. After which he knows that Mahie is an orphan, he also comes to know about her desires that she will marry to only the person who will be orphan too. Somehow Jass conveys a lie to Mahi that he is also an orphan who is dying to marry someone just like him. Mahi’s Brother fixes marriage of both of them by putting pressure on Jass. After this Mahi finds first floor of a home on rent, this is Jass’s own home. Living on rent in his own house without letting his family know about all that happened takes his life to the world of lies that ends up with so much of laughter.

  1. Singh Vs Kaur (2013)

This was another best movies of Gippy Grewal romantic comedy tale starring Gippy Grewal, Surveen Chawala, Japji Khaira and Binnu Dhillon. Directed by Navaniat Singh this film presented Gippy Grewal in a totally different look, where he is wearing a turban. The film was later remade in Bengali, starring as Romio Vs Juliet starring Ankush Hazra and Mahiya Mahi.

Plot: The plot was very interesting of this film. Nihal (Gippy Grewal) is just like a burden on the whole villagers, some of them even think to through him out. Whereas his friend Taari (Binnu Dhillon) is the person who loves to watch photos of random girls on internet and print their pictures out. One day he gives an idea to Nihal that he should marry girl of village’s Sarpanch (Head) who is a fat girl but this will make his raise his respect in front of all villagers. While the girl gets serious for Nihals, she tells Sarpanch that she will die if not married to Nihal. To come out from this situation Nihal shows picture of a random girl given by Taari to him and tells villagers that he is in love with this girl that is why he cannot marry Sarpanch’s Daughter. To this, villagers ask Nihal to bring girl in photo Jasneet (Surveen Chawala) to his home within one month, who lives in Canada.

  1. Bha Ji in Problem (2013)

The film was directed by the director of Carry on Jatta 2, Smeep Kang. Produced by Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar also he had a small role in the film. Whereas other than him tere were Gippy Grewal, Gurpreet Ghughi, Japji Khaira, Khushboo Grewal and B.N. Sharma.

Plot: Sundeep (Gippy Grewal) is married to two women who are unaware of the fact. Soon a person knows about this and asks wants to marry Sundeep’s sister. In favour of which he will keep his secret, a secret. So, this is the situation, to which he have to find a way to come out.

  1. Lucky di Unlucky Story (2013)

Also directed by Smeep Kang, and the story is similar to a Tamil Blockbuster movie, Panchathanthiram. Starring Gippy Grewal, Surveen Chawala, Jasinder Bhalla, Binnu Dhillon, Karamjit Anmol and Gurpreet Ghughi, this film did very well at box office because it holded a very interesting plot.

Plot: Four friends, Lucky (Gippy Grewal), Dimpy (Binnu Dhillon), Brar  (Jaswinder Bhalla)and Sidhu (Gurpreet Ghughi) go on a vacation where a murder takes place and somehow they four find out themselves as main suspects of this murder, whereas, at the end they find out the real victim and the murderer.

  1. Jatt James Bond (2014)

One of the most appreciated movie of Gippy Grewal which includes Bollywood actress Zareen Khan opposite him. The film was directed by Rohit Jugraj Chauhan and written by Abhinav Duggal. The movie also included personalities like Vindu Dara Singh, Yashpal Sharma, Avtar Gill, Sardar Sohi and Karamjit Anmol. The film is highly appreciated by the people in the industry as well because of its very different concept. The film is counted as one of the best movies of Gippy Grewal.

Plot: Shinda (Gippy Grewal) is the person who is very badly treated by the villagers but he finds a way to make then realize that no one on this earth is born without a talent, including his friend he robs a bank which will turn the lives of every villager because it contains all the money that the whole villagers have collected till now. The suspense thriller will shake you up after the climax.
