In view of the rush and security measures on the New Year’s Eve on December 31, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has issued an advisory for its passengers.
According to the advisory, the Delhi Metro passengers will not be permitted to exit the Rajiv Chowk station after 9:00 pm.
As per news agency and official Twitter handle of DMRC, “To ease overcrowding on New Year’s Eve, exit from Rajiv Chowk Metro station will not be allowed after 9 PM. However, the entry of passengers will be allowed until the departure of the last train.”

According to the reports, the advisory has been issued to enable the authorities to manage the law and order situation in Delhi during New Year celebrations.
Rajiv Chowk, one of the busiest stations of the Delhi Metro, caters to both the Blue Line and the Yellow Line.
