Happy Holi: The grand celebration of Holi has already begun. Popularly known as festival of colours, Holi will be celebrated on March 7 this year.

The Holi festival always falls on Purnima, or the day of the full moon in the month of Phalguna, which falls around the middle of March as per the Gregorian calendar.

The vibrant festival is all about dancing in the pool of colours and eating delicious delicacies.

On the occasion of Holi, list of Bollywood songs for you to groove on this festival of colours:

Balam Pichakari:

One of the best songs for Holi celebration, Balam Pichkari is from the movie Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. It is sung by Shalmali Khologade and Vishal Dadlani. Shalmali Khologade was nominated for the Filmfare Awards for Best Female Playback Singer for the song.

Badri Ki Dulhaniya:

The title song from the film Badrinath Ki Dulhania is one of the best Bollywood Holi songs. The song features Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt. The song was sung by Monali Thakur, Dev Negi, Neha Kakkar, and Ikka.

Gori Tu Latth Maar:

The Holi song from the movie Toilet-Ek Prem Katha highlights the tradition of Lathmar Holi. The wives hit their husbands in the playful setting of Holi against their complaints. It is celebrated by the folks of villages in Vrindavan and its adjoining areas. Many tourists gather each year to witness and celebrate Lathmar Holi.

Lahu Muh Lag Gaya:

The song, Lahu Muh Lag Gaya from the movie Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram Leela, is a sensual, romantic, seductive and private kind of Holi song on the festive playlist. It is ideal to play the Hindi Holi song when couples want to enjoy in public or private.

Soni Soni Akhiyon Wali:

Soni Soni Ankhiyon Wali song from Mohabbatein has been a Holi Anthem for a long time and hence, is one among the popular Holi songs list. The dance moves are easy and almost anyone can copy them.

Arre Ja Re Hat Natkhat:

Sung by Asha Bhosle and Mahendra Kapoor, Arre Ja Re Hat Natkhhat Hindi song is a popular Holi song. It shows the teasing and playing with colours in the traditional setting.

Bajaa Bajaa Dhol Baja Re:

The song Bajaa Bajaa Bajaa Dhol Bajaa Re from the movie Mere Pyare Prime Minister is composed by Shankar – Ehsaan – Loy, and penned by Gulzar to add playful tune to the Holi celebration.

Jai Jai Shiv Shankar:

The lead star in the song are Bollywood’s favourite and best dancers, Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff. “Jai jai shiv shankar, aaj mood hai bhayankar, Rang Udne Do.” The song is sung by Vishal Dadlani and Benny Dayal.
