In a funny incident, a government hospital in Bihar is asking its employees some really weird questions in their declaration forms. In the marital declaration form of the Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Science (IGIMS), Patna, employees are being asked to declare their virginity and also the number of wives they have.

IGIMS Patna, which was formed on 19 November 1983, as an autonomous organisation on the pattern of All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi works to provide super speciality medical facilities in Bihar. The institute also provides education in medicine and conducts health and medicinal research. It got affiliation of medical college from MCI in September 2011. It has a 100 MBBS seat.

Interestingly, in the earlier this month, Patna‘s super-specialty hospital hit the headlines after a patient was denied trolley and bed. An insensitive administrative order and a shortage of trollies force relatives to lug a patient with pelvic fracture and injury to urethra and rectum on bed sheet from dormitory to outdoor patient departments for consultation at IGIMS. This was not just one case, many patients had to be lugged to the OPD as they were short of trollies.
