In a recent development, Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal in Lok Sabha on Gargi college case.

He said, “It has come to our notice that some outsiders had entered the college, which is not right. The college administration has been asked to look into it.”

Earlier on Monday, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Sanjay Singh gave a Zero Hour Notice in Rajya Sabha over ‘indecent behaviour with students of Delhi’s Gargi college during the college’s annual festival’.

Students from south Delhi’s all-girls Gargi College alleged that they were manhandled, molested and sexually assaulted on the college campus during ‘Reverie’, the annual cultural fest, by drunk men who barged inside the college under the watch of the police.

A student also alleged that when she approached the college principal Promila Kumar, she responded by saying that I should have not come to the fest if I felt so unsafe.
