A 16-year-old boy has died following what is being described as a botched treatment for piles administered by an unlicensed practitioner, according to local police reports.

The practitioner, reportedly lacking formal medical training, conducted the treatment on November 12, placing the patient at great risk.

The boy’s mother has made serious allegations of negligence, leading to her son’s untimely death on November 22. It is reported that following the treatment, the boy experienced severe bleeding and other complications, resulting in his referral to multiple healthcare facilities before being declared dead at a state-run hospital.

The police have registered a case under Section 106 for causing death by negligence, based on the mother’s complaint. The alleged quack claimed to possess traditional healing knowledge passed down through generations. The case remains under active investigation as authorities seek to determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
