He uses them carefully and with full control. Talking about why he loves them so much, he said, “I think my life was incomplete without credit cards. I just love credit cards. I enjoy complementary travelling, railway lounge, airport lounge, food, spa, hotel vouchers, complementary domestic flight tickets, complementary shopping vouchers, complementary movies tickets, complementary golf sessions, complimentary fuel etc. by reaching milestones and using rewards points, airmiles and cashback.”

How did he use Cards without Falling into Debt?

Many people believe credit cards only lead to spending too much money. Manish proves this idea wrong. He makes sure he never has unpaid bills. He clears all payments on time and does not carry any balance. By doing this, he earns rewards, cashback, and free services from banks. Over the years, his normal daily spending has helped him save money and enjoy many free benefits.

His credit cards also helped him during a very hard time in India. In 2016, when demonetisation was announced, people rushed to banks and ATMs. Manish did not face these problems. Remembering that time, he said, “I remember the day On 8 November 2016, the Government of India announced the demonetisation of all 500 Indian Rupee and 1,000 Indian Rupee banknotes of the Mahatma Gandhi Series. This decision of the government of India had created a big panic in India and everyone was waiting in front of the bank for new currency in a big queue. That time credit card played an important role in my life. I don’t have to rush for cash in the bank and I was just enjoying spending money digitally through Credit cards.”
