IBPS PO 2025 Prelims Result: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection or IBPS is likely to announce the results of the Probationary Officer preliminary exam 2025 soon. Candidates who appeared for the exam on August 23 and 24 can check their results on the official IBPS website at ibps.in.
The results will be available under the “CRP PO/MT” section on the website. Once released, the PDF will show the roll numbers of candidates who have qualified for the next stage, the mains examination. Only those who meet both the overall and sectional cut-offs in the prelims will move ahead. IBPS will also send instructions to qualified candidates through email or SMS.

Normalization
The prelims exam is the first step for anyone trying to become a probationary officer in public sector banks. Since the exam happens in many shifts over different days, IBPS uses a system called normalization to make scores fair. This means they adjust marks so that everyone is judged equally, no matter which shift they took normalization is done for both the prelims and mains exams.
Once candidates pass all stages they get jobs in public sector banks like Punjab National Bank, Bank of Baroda, Union Bank of India, Central Bank of India, and Bank of Maharashtra. Overall, 11 public sector banks participate in the IBPS PO recruitment process.

Looking at last year’s pattern, the prelims exam for 2024 ended on October 20, and the results were declared on November 21, almost a month later. Based on this, candidates can expect the IBPS PO 2025 prelims results in the coming days.
