New Delhi: The Institute of Chartered Accountants has postponed the ICAI CA exam 2020 for Bihar based students which were slated in the first week of November due to the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections.
ICAI Exam Nov 2020 were scheduled to be held on November 2, 3, 6 and 7, 2020. ICAI CA November 2020 exams at Foundation level will now be conducted on November 19, 21, 23, and 25, 2020. The paper-wise schedule will be informed soon at the official website, icai.org.

Opt-Out Option from ICAI CA November 2020 attempt for all levels
Candidates who have tested COVID-19 positive and or having symptoms of diseases can opt out from the November session on self-declaration basis. Aspirants can carry forward their candidature, available to students including the fee paid and exemptions for the next exam, i.e., May 2021 exam cycle.
As per the media reports, the number of examination centres have been increased from 505 in May 2020 exam to 915 for November 2020 exam to cover around 192 districts more across the country for the convenience of the students.
The exam would be conducted in a single shift on all days from 2 PM to 5 PM. The foundation exam for paper 3 and 4 will be held from 2 PM to 4 PM.

ICAI has also issued Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to make sure that the exam is being held under safety precautions amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
