CAT results 2019: More than three months have passed since the results of the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2019 was announced on January 4, 2020. The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) will announce the final candidate’s list for the Post Graduate Program (PGP MBA) batch of 2020-22 academic session.
The list was earlier scheduled to be released after the interview round however it was postponed due to the nationwide COVI-19 lockdown.
The IIM-Kozhikode will announce the final list of shortlisted candidates of CAT 2019 from May 8 along with other b-schools.
“IIMs will be announcing the final shortlisted candidates from May 8 onwards and we are eager to welcome the successful candidates into the b-schools,“ the institute director Debashis Chatterjee said.
IIM Indore would announce the list of shortlisted candidates by the third week of May month. “We have completed the process of shortlisting candidates, and will announce the list of selected candidates by the third week of May,“ said Director Himanshu Rai.
The classes will begin only after the lockdown is lifted, the director mentioned.
This year, at least 10 candidates received a perfect score of 100 percentile. All candidates are male and they are from engineering/technology background. Among these candidates, six candidates are from IITs, two candidates are from NITs, and one candidate is from Jadavpur University.
