Congress President Rahul Gandhi is on Kailash Mansarovar Yatra from August 31 for four-five days. Gandhi, a devotee of Lord Shiva, had said he would embark on the pilgrimage after the Karnataka Assembly polls.

BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra today questioned Rahul Gandhi’s fondness for China. Patra said that Gandhi acts like a representative of China and not of India, mentioning the nation in all his speeches.

“Rahul wants India to learn decentralization of democracy from China. Why so much love for China and why he behaves as a Chinese spokesperson rather than Indian spokesperson”, Patra said at the press conference.

Gandhi, who has embarked on a 15-day pilgrimage to Kailash Mansarovar via the China route today, tweeted in response to remark by BJP:
