1:45 PM| Farmers, who had been holding a meeting regarding Home Minister Amit Shah’s offer to them to move to the Burari’s Nirankari ground to hold the protest and the government will hold the talks immediately, have rejected the offer. They said they won’t move to the Nirankari ground and continue to hold the protest at the border.

Shah on Saturday appealed to farmers and said his government was ready to hold talks. “I appeal to the protesting farmers that the Union government is ready to hold talks. The agriculture minister has invited them on December 3 for a discussion. The government is ready to deliberate on every problem and demand of farmers,” he told ANI.

Over 42,000 people recovered from the deadly disease in the last 24 hours taking the total recoveries to over 88 lakhs.

PM Modi on Saturday visited India’s top vaccine hubs to personally review the development of the coronavirus vaccine and the manufacturing process. The visit, PM Modi’s office said, was meant to help him get a “first-hand perspective of the preparations, challenges and roadmap in India’s endeavour to vaccinate its citizens”
