As per the latest update by Times Now, Sushant Singh Rajput’s former co-stars Sara Ali Khan and Shraddha Kapoor may be summoned in connection with the late actor’s case. As per the news channel, Sara and Shraddha were Sushant’s former co-stars and that their names are under the scanner by the NCB to be summoned in connection with the drug nexus. Shraddha worked with Sushant in his last big-screen release Chhichhore.

With 86,961 new cases, the coronavirus tally in India has risen to 54.87 lakh. As many as 1,130 deaths were reported in the past 24 hours pushing the toll in the country to 86,961. Of the 54,87,581 infections in the country, 10,03,299 are active cases, while 43,96,399 patients have already been recovered from the deadly infection.

In the latest development in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case, the Narcotics Control Bureau has issued a summon to Sushant Singh Rajput’s former Manager Shruti Modi, and talent manager Jaya Saha. They will appear before the agency today for further interrogation. The investigation around the drug angle in the case is currently underway by the NCB.

Eight opposition members have been suspended from the Rajya Sabha for a week or the rest of the session over unprecedented chaos in the house during the passing of controversial farm bills on Sunday. The members, including Trinamool Congress’s Derek O’Brien, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP)’s Sanjay Singh, Congress’s Rajeev Satav, and CPM’s KK Ragesh, were told they had displayed “unruly behavior especially with the Chair and gross disorderly conduct”.

“I am pained at what happened yesterday. It defies logic. It is a bad day for Rajya Sabha,” said Rajya Sabha chairman Venkaiah Naidu.
