After the conclusion of the 4 match Test series, the five-match T20 International series between India and England is now going to begin next week. Eion Morgan-led English side would be looking to avenge the humiliating loss of England in the Test series by 3-1.
India on Saturday finished on top of the league phase of the ICC World Test Championship standings after crushing England by an innings and 25 runs in the fourth and final Test here to pocket the series 3-1.
“That victory against England means India finish the league phase of the inaugural ICC World Test Championship with a fine view from the top of the table,” the ICC tweeted.
All of the matches of this T20 series will be held at Narendra Modi Stadium in Motera, Ahmedabad from March 12, Friday.
