India vs Pakistan ICC World Cup 2023: After ICC’s ticketing partner ‘Book My Show’ opened its exclusive pre-sale window, the first batch of tickets for the marquee World Cup match between India and Pakistan in Ahmedabad on October 14 were sold out within one hour.
While there will be another round of general sales for the India-Pakistan match on September 3, there is a possibility that all tickets will be sold out within hours, as was the case for all Mastercard holders on Tuesday.
It could not be confirmed how many tickets were made available online during the pre-sale period for all India matches and the warm-up games, but it has been learned that all tickets for the day were sold out within an hour of the sales opening at 6 pm IST.

The ‘Book My Show’ website displayed a ‘Sold Out’ label for the Pakistan encounter but not for the other eight India games.
Tickets will go on sale beginning September 3.
“Only those with a Mastercard (credit or debit, India and international) possessed access today.” Fans purchased the pre-sale tickets within an hour, as they were limited to only two tickets per individual.
On September 3, it is anticipated that another round will occur. The best aspect is that Narendra Modi Stadium has a capacity of 132,000, so a reasonable number of tickets are expected to go on sale on September 3,” a BCCI source familiar with the situation told PTI on condition of anonymity.
The ICC permits only two tickets per person to be reserved for all India games, including the semi-final and final, while four tickets per person may be reserved for all other games.
