Cricketer Mohammed Shami and his wife Hasin Jaha, are not new to the world of controversies and yet again, they have managed to rule the headlines for no good reason. As per the early reports, Shami’s wife Hasin Jahan has been arrested by Amroha police for allegedly creating violence and abusing her in-laws.
The incident took place last night Hasin surprisingly reached the paternal house of Mohammed Shami in Sahaspur Ali Nagar village of Dedauli last night, and got into a quarrel with Shami’s mother and brother.
However, Jahan alleged that the police arrested her due to Shami’s fame.
Going by the reports, the police arrested Jahan under section 151 which says that the police can arrest a person without a warrant for 24 hours. Hasin has been taken to SDM court for hearing in the matter.
Jahan had accused Shami of sexual harassment as well as extra-marital affairs ahead of IPL 2018 after which the pacer was excluded from the annual contracts by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). In a shocking development, Jahan had also posted several screenshots of Shami’s chat with other women, on her Facebook account.
