The Uran Naval facility in Mumbai has been put on ‘highest alert’ after four men were spotted moving suspiciously near a Naval facility in Uran close to Mumbai.

The men were spotted by school children in Uran. The students said they saw 4 men in black dresses at around 11 am talking to each other in a different language, news agency ANI has reported quoting Navy sources.

The students said they heard the men say ‘ONGC’ and ‘school’ repeatedly. Marine commandos MARCOS have been deployed at the Uran Navy base. One of the children talked about one man but the other reported having seen five men around 7 am, their faces covered and “speaking a different language”, near an ammunition storage facility of the naval base in Uran.

Mumbai police have put up check-posts across the city and are reviewing the situation. Colaba police have also alerted its officers to be on the watch.
