According to a report in Sportstar, this season’s prize purse for teams is Rs 46,500,000,000.

The Orange Cap and Purple Cap victors will each receive Rs 15 lakh, while the tournament’s Emerging Player will receive Rs 20 lakh.

In addition, the season’s Most Valuable Player receives a monetary compensation of Rs 12 lakh.

Four-time champions Chennai Super Kings will face the defending champions Gujarat Titans in the IPL 2023 championship match on Sunday at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Both teams had met during the Qualifier, with CSK prevailing decisively.

On Friday, Shubman Gill scored 129 runs to help the defending champions Gujarat Titans defeat the Mumbai Indians by 62 runs in Qualifier 2.

Gill’s 60-ball century, his third in four IPL innings, propelled Gujarat to 233-3, a total they successfully defended by bowling out five-time champions Mumbai for 171 in 18.2 overs in the last semifinal. A win for CSK would give them five IPL titles, tied for the most with MI.
